Our library is stocked in such a way as to act as a catalyst for literacy and reading and for teaching and scaffolding inquiry learning. School libraries make a difference to students’ understanding and achievement and provide support for teaching and learning throughout the school. The school library is an important part of the school community and reflects and welcomes this community.
School library plays a key role in the cultural and social life of the school. It can be a central point for engagement with all kinds of reading, cultural activities, access to information, knowledge building, deep thinking and lively discussion.
Biology lab, is an integral part of the curriculum. Experiments in these labs are explained to and done by the students, with care given to intricate details of each of them, so that once imbibed, the details remain in the young minds for future times.
The Chemistry laboratory is designed to support and illustrate chemical concepts studied in the lecture portion of the course, as well as to introduce important laboratory techniques and encourage analytical thinking. Along with concepts and chemistry covered in lecture, the laboratory portion at K’sirs will present some additional chemistry, both theoretical and practical.
Physics lab, is an integral part of the curriculum. It is in the laboratory that physics students learn to practice the activities of scientists - asking questions, performing procedures, collecting data, analysing data, answering questions, and thinking of new questions to explore.
K’sirs campus has a well-equipped computer laboratory accessible to students during and after school hours with advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software to cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum.
Music is an obvious outlet for self-expression and creativity.
But far beyond providing an opportunity to sing and dance, researchers have shown that a strong musical education provides so much more. Music, for example, develops self-discipline. The child who allots time for practicing each day is known to develop similar habits in conjunction with other subjects as well. Organizational skills increase and the child learns what it takes to be “good” at something.
